Hi, my name is shirley webb, maiden name young, I am trying to trace any thing or any one with the name Brand or information on Brand surname. The reason for this is my grandmother was Annie Munro Brand born 21 January 1890 at 13 number 17 Street Auchterderran Fife.She married granddad who was Robert Robertson Young on the 23 December 1910 at the same address where Annie was Born.They had my Father James Young on the 1 February 1912 at number 3 the row Bowhill Auchterderran Fife.
My grandmother Annie Munro Young died on the 12 Dceember 1919 from T/B. She died at her mother's place which was 33 Erskine Street Buckhaven.
21 days later her mother died on the 3 January 1920,on the death notice that my father had in his paper's the notice said in loving memory of our mother no husband is mention at the time of Annie Munro Brand's death and her death certificate is signed by a Thomas Brand then beside that it has got son.
On grandma's certificate it has father deceased.
So I know Annie had at laest 1 brother maybe more. Also on thier marriage certificate 1 of the witnesses who signed was a Nellie Brand who hopefully was Annie's sister. I know they would be very old now or even died but I'm hoping they had chilren who also had chilern,and some one out there recalls this information and it rings bells as I would love to know about my grandmother's family even if it is only small, anything would be gratefully recieved.
Hope someone reads this and knowns who this family are and that I do have some relatives out there in Scotland or even in the area of Buckhaven or Fife.
