Dear Vanessa I would just like to let you know that on July 20, 2002. Jim Sliter passed away at the University of Alberta Hospital, in Edmonton, Alberta. He had been in the hospital for about the last six weeks due to an infection and his kidneys shutting down. He finally passed away in his sleep when his heart and finally failed. I thought that you would like to know as Dad was really fond of you and like you alot. If you get this message would you please let the kids know that he is gone. I am sorry that things turned out this way and I do miss you.
