Information that I have on my great granddfather says that he, Reverend Henry Alfred Myers D.D., was in London; wife was born Lydia Walker and his son, Henry Walker Myers born feb. 28, 1884, were listed in the 1851 census. I have the 1851 census CD from 'Family Tree Maker', but cannot find them in it.The census information as listed is: 'St. Giles, Middlesex, England. Census 1851, Clifton, District'. I have twice requested a birth record of the son from the General Register Office, PO Box 2, Southport, Merseyside PR8 2JD. Negative results. It would seem to me that a record of a Reverend in the church of England whould be available. If anyone can offer me advice on an approach to find records of Henry Alfred Myers,it would be greatly appreciated. |
