PLEASE HELP!!! I have been unsucessfully looking for family of my late grandmothe ROSE NEWLAND who came to Canada in 1909 as a Barnardo child. She left 3 sisters in England ELIZABETH brn approx 1887 Eliza brn approx 1889 and ALICE brn approx 1904. The family lived in ACTON at the time of orphange papers and one daughter, ELIZA lived in SHEPPARDS BUSH and may of married an EDWARDS.
There was also mention of an UNCLE JOHN TUBBS. Parents according to marriage certificate of ROSE are GEORGE NEWLAND & ELIZABETH BROWN. Any children of these three girls would be my mothers first cousins and there is a family in CANADA anxious to learn about you. e-mail me above or at paulawhite34@hotmail.com Its been a long search and my mom is now 68 years old. |
