GOULDING SURNAME: I am looking for any information on my Goulding ancestors. They lived
in Lancashire (Wigan/Ince/Hindley).
John Goulding b. @ 1831 m. Jane Coulton
was my g-g-g-grandfather.
His son, John Goulding b. 1854 m. Jane Bennett
was a coal miner in Wigan. John had 12 sons, but I can only find the names of 5 of them: William
b. 1873, Edward b. 1875, Richard b. 1874, Thomas b. 1880, and Albert b. 1884 (my great grandfather).
My grandfather, Albert Goulding, Jr., was born in Wigan (they lived on Warrington Road) in 1908. The family came to the U.S. in 1911 aboard the Carmania out of Liverpool.
If anyone can help me fill in some of the blanks in my family tree, I would be forever grateful!
