My maternal grandmother was Mary Shankland Hannah of 35 Church Street, Dumfries. She married Thomas Harvey Jackson and had one son, Robert Hannah,before marriage. After marriage she had Harold, Thomas, and a daughter. Does anyone know anything about her parentage and ancestors? The Shankland in her name may be a link with her mother's side of her family, but who knows!
