SENNETT or variant spellings from Co Wicklow.
Joseph SENNETT b abt 1817, wife Julia Ann nee RYAN and their first two children, James (b 1843)and Mary came to Whitwood, West Yorkshire from Co Wicklow in about 1847 or 1848. I am trying to find exactly where they came from.
When they arrived in Yorkshire there were already other families of SENNETTs born in Wicklow. Were they related? These include Edward SENNETT b abt 1811 (who married Bridget in Yorkshire), Martha and husband (probaby George or James) and about 8 children including George and Edward. Also at least one James SENNETT, and a John SENNETT born in the 1810 to 1820 range.
Any information that would help locate a parish in Wicklow would be appreciated. |
