I am trying to trace my Fathers brother or family members in Port Sunlight Cheshire
My Father William (Bill) Talbot, was lost at sea during world war 11, served in Royal Navy, his ship, mine sweeper Lady Shirley, sank near Gibralter 1941, he married Ivy Appleton of Widnes Lancs, now cheshire,
His brother Ronald (Ronnie) Talbot, whom I was named after) served in the RAF,I last saw him in 1954 when he visited Widnes, at that time he lived in Port Sunlight, he was a butcher by trade and owned a grocery store, I think he had 2 daughters.
Other known relatives, Aunts, Ada Sheppard and Annie, Ada Sheppard become Ada Tovey, she had a boarding house in Blackpool, North shore, #10 moore St, where she lived until she passed away,
Auntie Annie moved to North Carolina in America in the early 1950s, I believe she had 2 daughters. Uncle Ronnie would be 82years old if still alive, he was the only link that I ever had to my dads family , my dad ran a waste paper business in Manchester before being killed in action. should any body read this with any kind of information of my uncle or family please contact me at given e mail address |
