Just starting out so don't have much to go on yet. My father, William George SOUTER, was born in Fort Langley, B.C., Canada in 1923. His father came to Canada in late 1800's from NEW PITSLIGO, Scotland. He brought his wife over after he had purchased land and built house. Worked on railroad and did some engineering and architecture and took part in builing city of Fort Langley. Dad is the 3rd of 4 children, and is now 79. Only surviving sibling is J. Ian Souter, about 83.
(Eldest sister Christina is now deceased, younger brother died at a young age)
Other relatives in Saskatchewan, Canada and possibly Australia. I've had no contact with either.
Quizzing Dad, but thought this might be a good lead in.
