Please Help! My paternal grandmother was born on
May 1, 1889, purportedly in London. She married a
Henry Frederick Butcher and immgrated to the US in
1923. She may have been adopted by a George Albinus
Newnam and his wife, Nell. She ( my grandmother )
went by the name Ella May Bussey Newnam prior to her
marriage to Henry Butcher. Henry had 2 brothers,
George and Robert as well as a sister Elsie. I have
no idea where the name Bussey came from. Need this
info ASAP for geneological purposes. Thanks! |
