I would like to trace any descendants of the following KIDDs from LONDON and SURREY. Charles and Sarah Jane Kidd [1881 census living at 21 Arthur Street, Battersea had children William (b. abt 1867), Edwin (abt 1872) and Mima ( abt 1874)].They may be the siblings of my grt grandfather, Charles Forbes Kidd, who was born in 1851 in Kensington to a Charles and Sarah Jane Kidd. I would therefore be pleased to hear from any of their descendants.
Likewise , Charles Forbes Kidd had three children by a first marriage to Caroline Lovett. These were Charles Henry (b abt 1873 in Lambeth), Herbert Forbes (abt 1877 in Brighton) and Thomas F. (abt 1883 in Kensington). Thomas may have been from another union.
In the 1901 census they are all, with the exception of Charles Henry , living with their widowed father and stepbrothers at 33 Danbrook Rd, Steatham. Charles Forbes is a cabdriver and Herbert and Thomas are 'carmen'.
The other brothers are William (my grandfather), Francis Oliver (abt 1888) and Joseph (abt 1892), mother Jane Gawne and all born in Mitcham.
Frank later lived in Tooting , had a wife Ginny (Jane) and daughter Joyce and a son killed at Changi in WW2(Leslie). Joe and his family lived in Gravesend.
