I am looking for information regarding relatives who were born in England with the surname 'Mitten'.
My grandfather, James (Jim) Edward Mitten was born in 1891 and lived around Little Suffolk. He ended up in the Bernardo Home for boys and was sent to Canada at the age of 15 yrs (1906).
Apparently there were other children in his family who were probably born between 1890 and 1920. Some of his siblings were named
Sam, charlie, Jack and Mary. Thank you for you assistance.....my mother who is now aged 75 would desparately like to meet/know her family from England.
