As a suprise for my mother I am trying to locate three old school friends of hers...I am trying to find SHEILA NORRIS (nee BRINE), SHIRLEY STANDAGE (married name unknown) and Shirley Jones (married name possibly Jones as well) They attended Millfields Primary School until 1945/46 and The John Howard Grammar School for Girls(now known as Clapton Girls Technology College) from 1946-1950, its also nicknamed Laura Place (due to its location), which was or is in London in the Clapton area. My mother's name at the time was MARINA CLIMPSON although I think her friends called her either Rina or Min.
Unfortunately my information is rather scant as I can't question my mother on these ladies without giving away what I am trying to do.
I know she would dearly love to hear from Sheila and the two Shirleys as she has spoken of them often through the years..
If anyone knows or can put me in touch with these ladies I would appreciate it very much..It would be an absolute thrill for my Mum to have contact with her best friends from school.
