re Herbert William Evans born Manchester 8th November 1889,Died in NZ 4th Sept. 1979.Described as a retired ships steward and an ex seviceman.Married twice 1st in Belgium (WWI ?)
2nd New Zealand 1963 His parent were William and Selina( nee Bickers).On the 1881 British census they lived at 9 Peel Ave Ardwick.As this census was eight years prior to his birth he alreadt had eoght brothers and sisters.They were Julia,A.William.J. Samuel,F. Esther. Sarah,L. Selina. Charles,H.and Ernest.Are there any living relatives still in the U.K.? as Herbert William Evans was my Father |
