I'm looking for anyone who knew Dorothy BRUCE, born in ECCLESHALL, Staffs, in Decmber 1911.
Did she have any other family?
She was living at Cambridge Terrace, Paddington, LONDON, in the 1930's. In 1933 she gave birth to a daughter, Jacqueline BRUCE, whom she gave up for adoption (my mother).
My mother tried tried tracing her real mother (before the arrival of the internet), via the social services and was told that her natural mother, Dorothy BRUCE, had died several years before ... If anyone knows where she went to from the 1930's ...? When did she die? Where? Did she have other children, etc, please contact me.
