| I'm looking for info about my ggrandfather, born in Ireland, went to Scotland mid-19th c, then to USA. Handwritten document says: James Cassidy Rowan Street Paisley April 20, 1856. Then printed at bottom: Entered in Stationers' Hall; Printed by Oliver & Boyd Tweeddale Court, High Street, Edinburgh. We don't know where he was born or when he came to the States. Can anyone suggest routes to info? or identify this document? Thanks. |
