I am looking for info on my Gt Grandparents.
George Muir and Janet Simpson Hay. George was born in Dunbar and i think Janet Simpson Hay was born in Scotland -- but not sure. They married in New York 1870. My grandfather Thomas Adam Muir was born in New York as was another son David.
They came back to Scotland -- early 1870s two daughters born in Scotland, then they moved to Northumberland two daughters and one son born there. Would welcome any info re muir's or simpson hay's as i am at a dead end with these two families.
