Hello out there I am looking for history and hopefully some long lost relatives of my great grand parents:
William Porteous Jack-b-Dec.31,1841-Glasgow.
Was a member of Masonic Lodge and a member of Incorporated Trades of the City of Glasgow
died:April 18,1918-Vancouver,BC.Canada. Burried in Masonic Plot.
(Parents:James Jack/Margaret Calderhead.)
married:March 3,1876-Glasgow to:
Mary Elizabeth Shannan-b-July 26,1860- Glasgow
died: Oct.1,1935-Vancouver,BC.Canada.Burried in Masonic Plot.

Children:1)Peter Shannan Jack-b-May1,1881-Glasgow.
2)Ada Jane McFarlane Jack-b-April 30,1883-Glasgow
3)Horton William Porteous Jack-b-Dec.12,1894.
The family came to Canada in about 1906.My grandfather Peter married Mary Florence Cameron-1912-they had 5 children. Ada never married and Horton married very late in life. No children.
