looking for information on my Great Aunt. Bertha Robinson, born in Nottingham, lived most of her early life in Middlesbrough, was brought up by her sister my Grandmother Caroline Adelaide Robinson, Who married Walter Smith.
Bertha went to work for a Mrs. Bell looking after her children, in Middlesbroug, when children grew up Bertha looked after Mrs. Bell, & worked in a butchers shop in Borough Road. When Mrs. Bell died Bertha moved away with one of Mrs. Bells married daughters we believe to London. If she is still alive Bertha would be in her nineties.
