Searching for information regarding my Park family history in Ireland, Havent had much luck in finding anything of relevance in Ireland so far.
Ancestors were Thomas Park he died prior to 1866, his son William John Park c.1841 born in Ireland, on one census return he is listed as born in Donegal Buncrana (1881) then in 1901 he tells a porkie!, and states his birthplace is Dublin, so seeing as they are not too close to each other I am at a loss as to where his actual birthplace was! He married an Eliza Lavinia Lush I do not know where she was born, they had 4 or 5 children together and may have died shortly after he last sons birth as i have found a death entry and birth entry for the family in the same quarter and same year in the Birth Marriage and Death Index in my family history ctr. William re-married in the 1880's to an Elizabeth Taylor she was from Yeovil Somerset England, her mother may have been named Mary Anne (according to the 1881 census) Elizabeth and William Park had 2 children together, Florence Mary Maud Park c.1886 in Bristol England, and Richard Thomas Park c.1888 in Bristol England (my G-Grandad) he died in 1976 He worked on the Railways and he moved to Swansea S.Wales UK, he married Mary Catherine Hawes, they had many children one of which is my Grandmother Violet May Park c.1912 -1991 Violet later married a Christopher Colbert c.1895 son of John Colbert c.1868.
