I am searching for information pertaining to my Grandfather William Frederick Shimmin, born May 29,1905 in Birkenhead, England. From what I was told, his mothers maiden name might possibly be Cannon and he had several siblilings but I only know the name of one sister - Catherine (AKA Kitty).
The family moved to the Isle of Man between 1910 -1920. William Married Margaret Catherine Kelly in 1928 on the IOM then immigrated to the United States in 1929.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
