I am hoping to find information on THOMAS WHYTE , his wife, and son MARTIN WHYTE I would be ecstatic if a descendant of a sibling of Martin Whyte would contact me.

I would greatly appreciate any help.-- My name is Roy Buch of Queensland, Australia and I have been researching my mother side of the family tree for at least 10 years and not having much success with it . MARTIN WHYTE, was my mother’s Grandfather was born on 1st Nov. 1833 in the town of Ballingarry,(near Birr) in the county of Tipperary, Ireland (information gathered from his Army Attestation papers). Martin (by falsely
stating his age) joined the Scottish Army the (99th) Lanarkshire Regiment of Foot in Cork, Ireland. He served in Australia between the years of 1854 and 1856 he served in Canton, China, during the years 1860,1861, he embarked from Hong Kong to go home in 1861 having finish his service, he was discharge in 1861 in Cork Ireland. MARTIN WHYTE then enlisted in The Grenadier Guards in October 1861 in Bristol, when he finished his army service he was discharged in London in the 1872. Prior to his enlistment
Martin was a shoemaker by trade. In 1871 Martin married Charlotte Jenks Davies of Bristol. MARTIN WHYTE, father was THOMAS WHYTE mother possible name was Margaret or Charlotte then after 1851. Thomas and his wife settled in Kent, possibly Greenwich or a adjacent parish or county, his occupation was described as a bailiff .----Is this our Thomas, The Griffiths Valuations (1848)County Tipperary, Lower Ormond,
Parish of Borrisokane, Townland Liskinlhan Thomas Whyte leased house & office. -----
