I am trying to trace my partners ancestors. The surname is Menefy. The facts we know is that his grandfather, William,Henry Menefy was born abt 1888. He came to New Zealand, where we are, and married Ethel Corkill. We have a journal written by his ggggrandfather, Henry Menefy in 1819.
I would like as much info as I can on any Menefy, this exact spelling if possible. Really anything will do at this time. Give me something to work on.
