Hello,
My great grandparents were married on Dec 25, 1880 in the Parish of Leeds, county of York. Their names were Samuel Slater and Emily Turner. I believe they came to Quebec Canada in 1895. I am interested in finding out any information on his father James Slater's family and her father John Turner's family. They were both carpenters. On the marriage certificate listed as witnesses are Frederick Overton and Mary or May Elizabeth Turner. How are these people related?
