looking for birth mother and father mothers name shelia doyle,formerly of 199 Belle Vue Road Leeds 3 west yorkshire.Iwas found in a locked room at the above address being cared for by a unamed boy on September 30th 1959 by Inspecto Cathcart who then worked for the NSPCC. the boy was from street lane childrens home and had absconded he said is aunt was shelia doyle, the child and boy were removed to a chioldrens home. The following day sheila doyle returned home was briefly interviewd by inspector cathcart. the mother had head injuries was bleeding and appeared to have been drinking, she said she had been assaulted by the father of the child and the child had been born on the 25th April 1959. Mother was asked to go for formal interview but failed to attend and all attempts to trace her failed right upto the adoption date. The court found that the birth had not been registered and were faced with the prospect of whose parentage date and place of birth were unknown. the fathers surname was Brough he signed the papers for the adoption to go through on the 29th January 1963.
anyone recognize any details of this family whose surnames are of irish decent please email me, however small, i just would like to know were i come from etc.
