| I'm looking for my husbands birth mother, her name was Maureen Ellen Chapman, and she gave birth to my husband on 24/7/67. She named him Terence Chapman, his adoption was finalised in March 1968. We know Maureen was 20 in 1967, and she lived in Union Street, Saltcoats, Ayrshire, at the time she became pregnant. She then moved to stay with her father in Helpringham, nr Sleaford, Lincolnshire, gave birth, and was hoping to return to Ayrshire after the baby was placed. My husbands birth father is John Cairns of Irvine, Ayrshire. He was 22 at the time my husband was born, and as far as we know isn't aware he has a son, let alone 2 beautiful grandchildren. We would love to hear from anyone who knows anything, no matter how small. |
