Looking for a George Muir, papermaker, born in Scotland in 1798.George had two sons,John born about 1825 and Alexander born about 1828, both in Scotland
Both sons moved to England and were living in the Jarrow area in 1851 Census.Alexander was also a Papermaker.
There is a family that fits some of this criteria living at varius times in the Cambuslang,Eastwood and Cathgart areas but I need to find out if the father was a papermaker.
Any suggestions appreciated
