Looking for information on a Benjamin COOK. Born in Surrey, England in 1768. He married Ann POULDEN. She was the daughter of John and Mary (nee MITCHELL) Mary was born in 1773 in England.In the early 1800's, aged 31 years, Benjamin was convicted in a Surrey Court for an unknown offence. It is believed he was sentenced to death that was commuted to life. He died onbaord the Royal Admiral and was buried at sea on 5th June 1800.His wife gave birth to a son on the way to Asutralia.
