DESCENDANTS OF WILLIAM GEORGE BORN C.1868 MIDDLESEX.
I am researching my husband's family history and have hit a brick wall with his grandfather William George. I can find no trace of his birth or baptism. According to census information he was born in St. Luke Middlesex - father Henry Arthur George who gives his birthplace as either Middlesex or Berkshire around 1823/1827.
William married Jemima Agnes Bentall and had 11 children - their eldest son was also called Henry Arthur George.
Henry Arthur George, born 04.11.1894 in Highbury Islington, married Irene Mona Wallace 19.04.1917 in West Ham.
They had 4 daughters
Irene Lilian George born 1918 married John Alfred Cawte 25.05.1940.
Florence Edith George born 1920 married Alan Eric Hawkins 20.07.1940.
Hilda Daisy George born 1921 married Ernest Arthur Hale 16.08.1941.
Dorothy Mona George born 1925 married George Henry White.
Looking for any descendants of the above marriages to help with family history. |
