MIHAEL IAN SMITH was your registered birth name. You were born on NOVEMBER 4, 1970 in Reading, Berkshire. Your birth Mother's name was LESLEY SMITH. You were adopted on May 17, 1971 through SEVENOAKS COUNTY COURT. Your adoption files are at CHILDLINK in London. Where are you? I need to close the loop. Does this sound like a relative of yours? Michael could be your adopted brother, cousin,or nephew, although I don't know if his parents kept the same names. I have started the search by acquiring Certs for 1971 and I have six that are no good to me. Anyone looking for this time frame of adoptions should email me and I will pass the information on. Meanwhile, does anyone out there have Certs they don't need for the time frame I am looking for - specifically MAY 1971? If anyone can help find Michael, please contact me. Thanks in advance.
