I am related to a Henry Mercer who travelled to Australia around 1845-1860 and settled in South Australia and in 1860 married a Louisa Grace Cox , they had 4 children.Here in Australia there is no record of Henry arriving, on his marriage certificate it showed his age as 24 years old so that puts his birth date about 1836-1837, so I have found 3 Henry Mercer's born in England around this time.
Henry b 1835 at Preston,Lancashire.
" b 1837 at Chaigley,Lancashire.
" b 1839 at Prescot,Lancashire.
Could someone please search this name to see which one travelled to Australia or stayed in England and married, a matter of elimination.
