| Looking for my grandma's family. From Birmingham, Warwick, England.Her name was Mary Ann Hammond, called "Polly". Mother's maiden name Ann Hughes, born abt 1830. Father's first name unknown. Mary Ann had sisters Anne (b. abt 1855) and Caroline (B. abt. 1859), and a brother Robert, born between 1850-1860. Mary Ann came to the USA in 1882 at age 18, never saw her family again (by choice). |
