could anybody tell me the difference between Dunlichty Nairn and Daviot Dunlichty Inverness
My gggrandfather was Simon Fraser Mackintosh born 1826 Daviot Inverness father Donald mother Cathrine Fraser
I have found a birth that maybe Donald 1789 Dunlichty Nairn and a marriage for him to Cathrine Fraser 1812 Nairn
Then more confusion Donalds father is William on IGI states born Daviot Dunlichty Nairn
Can't determine if it is one and the same place
