BUCKINGHAM ENGLAND Jan 11, 2003
My grandmother was a Louisa BUCKINGHAM born in the UK, but I have no idea who her parents were. Starting with the children from Eldest to youngest, the info I have is as follows:-

1st child - James BUCKINGHAM b? d? (during WWI served in British Navy as a Stoker) married a Margaret or Maggie. They had 4 children :Jim, Elsie, ?, and Fred. Jim married a Lill and they had two children. Jim and his family moved to Dagenham when only a new suburb.

2nd child - Anne BUCKINGHAM, lived at Elephant and Castle.

3rd child - Louisa Buckingham b? UK d June 1981 in Perth West. Australia. She married a Joshua Percival BOOTLE and they had 6 children. Ernest, William, Richard, Helen, Ralph (my father) b June 9th 1919 and Leslie.

4th child - Charlotte (Lottie) BUCKINGHAM married a Jim CLARKE.(Jim is believed to have been a Drum Major in the Guards Regiment and they ended up living at Market Drayton, Shropshire). They had 4 children :- Jim CLARKE who married a Susan, they had one daughter.(Jim & Susan started their own catering company and lived in thornton Heath towards Croydon). Peter CLARKE(believed to be a CID Officer 1958 for Essex Police, later in life lived in Dagenham and died early 1960's from cancer) married ? and had two children one of which was a teacher and the other a model. The 3rd child I don't have a name for and their 4th child was a Thomas CLARKE.

5th child - Sophia BUCKINGHAM married ? JENNER ( Mr Jenner cared for horses for the drug company May & Baker) and they had 4 children :- Amy JENNER b circa 1912 (she also worked for May & Baker) married ? and had one child. George JENNER b circa 1919 (George in late 1950's early 1960's worked for MJ Gleeson as a carpenter at Belvedere Power Station) and 2 other's names of which I do not have.

Sorry this is so long winded but this is all the info I have on these families, hopefully something will ring a bell with someone, anything would be greatly appreciated.

Looking forward to hearing from you at bigbirdmel@hotmail.com.

Regards Melanie
