I am seeking information on JOHN LIGERTWOOD.
He was probably born in 1936 and joined the RAF as an apprentice on 20 January 1953. His home town was Aberdeen in Scotland. He graduated as a Junior Technician Electrical Fitter (A) in December 1955 and was promoted Corporal during 1956.
He was at RAF Cottesmore 1959-1961 and was last heard of at RAF Acklington in the early 60's.
He is the only one of our small group who's whereabouts are unknown. As we have our 50th anniversary this year I would be delighted to find out what happened to him
