I am still looking for cousins of mine, now probably widely scattered.
the surname is Cross, and they were predominantly in Colchester, Essex, and prior to that, in Walton and in Woodbridge in Suffolk.
the family tended towards nonconformity in religion, and I know some left England for Canada, America, and, I believe, Australia.
this is a large tree, with many branches, but some of the branches and a good many of the twigs are missing.
if you feel you may have Cross ancestors who connect, please email me and I will check my file and see if I find your people in the file.
this line goes back into the early 1600's and I susspect I am missing at least 2/3 of the descendants. hopefully when Rootsweb's FreeReg finally becomes available, I will find some of the missing lines.
