I am trying to trace the whereabouts of Melvin Jones from Merthyr Tydvill South Wales. He was stationed down in Pembroke Dock in the R.A.F. around 1957-1959. He used to do boxing at Pembroke fair,he took me to Merthyr for a weeks holiday,he showed me the coal mine in or around Merthyr,where Eddie Thomas used to work,as i went in i touched the pit face!A couple of days after arriving in Merthyr,Mel was called back to Pembroke Dock,and i stayed on in Merthyr for the rest of the time. He has two brothers whom i cannot remember their names and a sister named Anne,his brothers were tall where as Mel was only short.
If anyone knows of Mels whereabouts I would love to get in touch with him,thankyou |
