I would like to locate/corresond with or find out any information regarding a lass I met in April 1961 in Glasgow. Her name maiden name was MABEL MACRAE (perhaps MCRAE). She would have been about 20-25 years old and hairdresseer in 1961. I believe she lived in Glasgow or nearby.
We met at a dancehall (Lacharno's-not sure of the spelling) on Sauchiehall Street. I had a beard.
She corresponded with my sister CAROLYN KINNES(1961-1963). I belive she was married in 1964 and possibly left Scotland.
I was a immature submarine sailor stationed in Holy Loch at the time we met.
The reason I would like to contact her is to she how she is doing, and apologize for being such a jerk before I die.
Searching for her was not possible before I had an internet connection.
I hope she and her family are doing very well. I just want to let her know that I feel I owe her an apology and would like to correspond with her if possible.
