| I'm looking for parents of William Clark who married Janet Gardiner. Janet was born about 1824 in Redgorton, Perthshire, Scotland. On the 1871 census he was listed as age 56, was a "slater" and his birthplace was Methven, Perthshire, Scotland. Apparently there are two William Clarks who have married a Janet Gardiner or Gardener, one in Methven August 18, 1849 and the other in Red Gorton, August 24, 1849. I have found that William and Janet had eight children. Look forward to hearing from someone. Thanks. |
