I am trying to get past my ggg gf James Sinclair b. abt 1800 Ordiquill, Banffshire. Married Ann Yates b. Aberdeenshire.
Three children: James Sinclair b. April 20 1825, Ann Sinclair b. March 20, 1828, Williamina Sinclair b. October 26 1830.
James married Jane Hardie. They had four children, Mary, John, Ann and Eliza.
Mary married John McGachie June 22 1867 at Ellon.
Mary & John were living in Nigg, Kincardineshire according to the 1881 Census. Their childen are
James Sinclair, John, Alexander Morren, William Sinclair, Mary Jane W., and Leslie. Two of the children have the middle name of Sinclair.
I would like to hear from anyone with a Sinclair/McGachie connection.
