| I am looking for any living descendant or any information on my ggg grandparents Andrew or Alexander Scott born about 1791 possibily in Edinburugh and married Jane Donald on 7 March 1816 in peebles. They had 5 or 6 children including a set of twins born 14 march 1830 a boy named alexander and a girl named Christina. Their son Andrew born 17 Sep 1832 married Jane Lawrie or (Laurie) on 22 April 1861 in Roddinglaw. They came to Australia in 1865 on the Empress of the Seas it left London 18 June 1865 and arrived 24 Sept. 1865. Their daughter Janet died on the way over 4th Sept. 1865. |
