Looking for realtives on both sides of my family.
Looking for relatives of Martin and Helen (Ellen) Murphy. Her maiden name was also Murphy. Martin may have been born in New Brunswick Canada or emergrated there. Helen was born in Fort Fairfield, Maine. They had at least 3 children including Stephen Joseph Murphy (my Grandpa).
Looking for relatives of Huge Reid who was either born in New Brunswick, Canada or emegrated to New Brunswick in the mid-1800s. He married Charlotte Robinson. They had 3 or 4 daughters and possibly 1 or 2 sons including Susan Irene Reid (my paternal Grandma)who married Ernest Freeman Dyer. She died in 1909 from complications of childbirth.
I know this isn't a great deal to go on, but I have to start somewhere. I believe the Murphy's were from Cork, not that it helps much given the name.
Also looking for authentic recipes for Irish main dishes and desserts.
