I am researching my family tree. My grandfather was William Broadbent Thomas, born in Australia
His father was John Thomas, born in Cardiff, Wales about 1840-45. John's father's name was Evan. John Thomas was a draper and I think the indenture papers I have are for him. He was apprenticed with consent of Eliza Thomas to
Fred Howe & George Corps (?) drapers of
175 Commercial St. Newport, Monmouthshire in 1863. He was married in 1869 in Lambeth, Surrey to Louisa Elizabeth Stevens father James.
If anybody could help I would appreciate this. It is very frustrating to look for Thomas's!!
