I am trying to locate the father of my maternal grandmother; she was Elsie Georgia (Davies)Beck, born: May 17, 1895 in Ohio, reportedly Zaneville.
She married James Austin Beck, sometime prior to 1920, in Ohio; she died May 10, 1945 in Columbus, OH. (James A. Beck was born Aug. 30, 1898 in Kinnikinnick, OH; died Oct. 11,1957 in Columbus, OH) My GGF : David Davies (or Davis)immigrated from Wales in the 1800's; he married Ellen (last name unknown) from Ireland if here or overseas or at sea, I have no idea. I have a couple of relatives left who are in their late 80's, they remember my grandmother but they do not know her
family history other than what I just related above. I have a death certificate for both my GF Beck and GM (Davies)Beck, but it only gives me the city she was born in and the date; unable to locate a birth record. HELP!!! Any suggestions where to start? |
