| I am doing family research into the bennett family of london and the logan family of Edinburgh. Specifically, I am interested in Jane Logan born about 1825 and Peter Logan born 1830 in Edinburgh. Their parents are James Logan and Jane possibly Brock, the surname is badly written on a death certificate. I know that Jane arrived in Australia in 1848 aboard the Mohamed Shah which sailed from London. I don't know when Peter left Scotland/England as he was in USA for two years before he arrived in Australia, possibly it was 1850/51. So far I have not been able to find them on the 1841 scottish census. Any information would be helpful, there may have been other children still left in Scotland. I know that the parents James and Jane were both dead by 1890. Thank you in advance for any help. Robin in Aus. |
