Have you a Janet Fraser, married to Smollet Holden, in your ancestry? They would have married about the late 1700's.
Smollet Holden has been located in Ireland in late 1700's to 1813. He died in Dublin Ireland in 1813, and probably spent most of his life in Dublin.
Smollet's parents names may be Francis Holden (he was a school master,) and Janet Elison (var. Jenat Alleson, Jenat Eliason, etc.)
Do not have any records of Janet, except that she was married to Smollet Holden. They had a son named Francis Smollet Holden, daughteres named, Matilda and Mary Holden.
