I was born on the 8th February 1973 at the Edith Watson Maternity Home in Burnley, Lancashire.
My birth name was John Paul Earnshaw.
I am still trying to find my birth mother - Gail/Gayle Earnshaw.
She was around 17 years old at the time and was last known to be working at PONTINS, Clifton Drive North, St. Annes, Blackpool (21st June 1973).
The Registered Adoption Society was the Blackburn Diocesan Council for Family Social Work.
My adoption order was signed on the 16th October 1973 at the Preston County Court.
If anyone has any information / advice that could help me please get in contact.
