I am searching for information on my mother’s family. Her name was Evelyn CLOUGH. She was the daughter of Arthur and Charlotte (ASHTON) CLOUGH. From her birth record I know:
Date of birth: January 24, 1916
Place of birth: 18 Wilton Street, South Manchester
Occupation of father: Private (No. 3157) 22nd Lancashire Fusiliers
Present at birth: Agnes ASHTON
From the writing on the backs of old pictures I know that she had an Uncle Billy ASHTON as well as cousins Maude and Lillian. I also have pictures showing Charlotte, her father (unnamed) Uncle Billy, and my mother as a child with Maude and Lillian.
