Thomas Freebury, b. England c. 1816 married c. 1840-42 to Margaret Harvey, b. England c. 1818.
lst child James b. Wiltshire, 1841-42
Can't find any passenger lists/ships, but next child born 1843 Massachusetts/Vermont, USA, then family settled permanently in La Salle, Illinois.
These are my GGGrandparents. I want, of course, to find all four of THEIR parents, to get back that "one more generation".
The Freebury children were: James (married Mary Ann Murphy, Annie Josephine Christian, and Elizabeth Hart); Fanny (married Sebastian Duft) -Nancy (married Andrew Reid) - Moriah (married Conrad Wagner) - Mary J. (married Thomas Kotto) - Rosanna (married William Kneebone) - John (Married Marcy McDonald) - and William (married Rachel Ball).
