I am looking for relatives remaining in Newcastle-upon-Tyne of William and Margaret Thompson Atkinson. They emigrated to the U.S. (Sacramento, CA) in 1912. Their children were Susannah, Mary, Isabella and Edward (my grandfather.) William (my great-grandfather) had a sister married to W. Swinburne and his parents, William and Susannah Atkinson died around 1904. Joseph and Isabella Thompson were Margaret Atkinson's parents and they also died in the early 1900's. They all lived near Tyne Docks in South Shields.
